GAZA DOCTORS UNDER ATTACK Film Screening
Event description
Join us for a screening of the documentary film the BBC doesn’t want you to see: GAZA DOCTORS UNDER ATTACK.
Originally commissioned by the BBC, Doctors Under Attack is a powerful forensic investigation into Israel’s military assaults on Gaza’s hospitals and the killing of Palestinian doctors and healthcare workers. After months of delays, the BBC controversially chose not to broadcast the film, stating it “risked creating a perception of partiality.”
In response, Basement Films—the production team behind the documentary—released the film independently through Zeteo, declaring: “The truth must be told… It’s a damning indictment that it is not possible under the national broadcaster’s current leadership.”
Using satellite imagery, eyewitness testimony, and on-the-ground investigations, the film exposes the systematic targeting of Gaza’s healthcare system, raising urgent questions about international law, medical neutrality, and the complicity of silence.
The screening will be followed by a brief Q&A discussion.
