Discover the future of disability-led cinema - right here in the Inner West!
Filmable is a short film festival celebrating diverse perspectives of disability on screen. This free event features two exciting sessions.
Session 1 - Wednesday 3 December 2025
Inclusion Festival Hackathon Red Carpet screening (6.30pm to 7pm)
World premiere of three short films created in just 48 hours by first-time filmmakers with disability, shot entirely on a mobile phone. Presented by The Story Mill.Filmable Short Film Festival (7pm–8:30pm)
A showcase of cutting-edge disability-led shorts curated by disabled filmmaker Kyle Goldfinch. Full program TBA.
Session 2 - Saturday 6 December 2025 (3.30pm to 5pm)

Join us for an evening of disability-led cinema. Screenings include:
Inspire ME - Determined to become the most inspirational disabled person ever, Madeleine Stewart embarks on a journey to become a Paralympian.
Voice Activated - A florist with a stutter is forced to cooperate with a voice-activated car on the way to an important delivery.
Diving In - Will romance blossom for Alex? The competitive swimmer is madly in love with Jen, who works at the local pool. First, he needs to make a date, but his mischievous friends aren’t helping.
Each film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers about their creative process.
