The Filthy Darlings are not the darlings you come home to. As filthy as the police but sincere as the Darling Buds of May, we are the first point of call in a musical emergency and always the first to respond.
Formed in 2018 in the wake of a ‘Sleepless In Seattle’ and ‘Dirty Harry’ marathon, four friends agreed it was time to cast off the shackles of domesticity and set sail into the turbulent waters of middle aged music production. Many have tried to put their footprint on this seismic endeavour but where they failed we walk weightless across the moonscape of opportunity.
From the ashes of oppression, The Filthy Darlings were conceived and the Ashes came home to southern shores again. We are four pioneers on a quest for your love and your favour. Our lives are our own but our music is for you, contemporary meets classical, metal meets wood and rock beats paper in this ensemble rich in harmonic content and poor in financial gain.
If we don’t win your hearts with our songs, we might just win your pants and that will be a fitting silver medal.
