Let's Talk Disability Awareness Training

Come along to a free half-day workshop, led by a team of vibrant and engaging presenters, all of whom have lived experience of disability. Small to medium businesses across Tasmania who may be interested in diversifying their workforce by employing a person with disability are urged to attend these sessions. For those attending, it’s an immersive, entertaining and enlightening experience.

These sessions cover:

• Myths and misconceptions
• Disability etiquette
• Access, inclusion and attitudes
• Language and terminology
• Disability throughout Australia over time
• Activities in break-out groups
• Q & A with your presenting team

These sessions are obligation free, and offered as part of the larger Diversifying Disability Employment project ran by National Disability Services.
