Event description

Do universities have a role in high school entrepreneur education?Entrepreneurship is more than a profession - it is a mindset. Primary and high schools are increasingly introducing young people to entrepreneur activities and entrepreneurial thinking.

But the playing field is not even, and not all high school graduates enter universities with the same entrepreneurial opportunities. How can universities better support the transition between graduation and higher education so that more young people are prepared to apply an entrepreneurial approach to future challenges?

Panel:

Murray Hurps - Director of Entrepreneurship, University of Technology

Siobhan Curran - Senior Manager, I2N and Innovation at University of Newcastle

Associate Professor Therese Keane - Deputy Chair Department of Education, Swinburne University of Technology

Chad Renando - Founder, Startup Status
