Travel instructions
Bus: the closest bus way is at the Cultural Centre on Melbourne Street. To get to CRU from there – turn right into Grey Street – walk along Grey until you reach Peel Street. Turn left at Peel and walk approx 230 m to the corner of Merivale and Peel Sts. City Cat: the city cat terminal closest to CRU is adjacent to QPAC at Southbank. It is approximately 1.2km walk from there. Train: the closest train station is South Brisbane which is on Grey Street opposite QPAC. It is about 600m from there to CRU. Car: Merivale Street is one way – you will need to enter Merivale from Montague Road to drop off passengers at the door. Parking: On street parking in this area is limited. There is some 4hr ($1.60 per hour) ‘on street’ metered parking in Merivale Street and Montague Road. Please DO NOT use 4 hr parking if you plan to be at CRU for workshops longer than 4 hours. Manning Street and Boundary Street have 9 hr on street parking (max cost of $8/day ; 7am – 7pm). Brisbane city council has a metered parking station on the corner of Montague Rd and Cordelia Streets. GOMA, Art Gallery and Convention Centre have car parks, which are in walking distance.
Entry instructions
The building is opposite St Mary’s Catholic Church. The entrance is via Merivale Street. It’s the building with the big red stripe down the side. Turn right at the lifts to the CRU office.

Accessible parking
There is one accessible parking spot in the building carpark. Please let us know ahead of time if possible if you wish to use this space so we can reserve it. Brisbane city council has a metered parking station on the corner of Montague Rd and Cordelia Streets. GOMA, Art Gallery and Convention Centre have car parks, which are in walking distance.
