AFTER HOURS ART SESSIONS PRESENTS...

FINDING FEATHERS

Sometimes the things we need most aren’t things at all.

A little courage.
A little peace.
Permission to let go.
A reminder to stay wild.
Or maybe just the words “you’ve got this” on a day when we're not entirely convinced we do.

Finding Feathers is about creating your own little collection of reminders.... the words, thoughts and tiny pieces of wisdom you carry with you.

Using watercolour and ink, we’ll create a collection of beautifully imperfect, colourful feathers across an A4 artwork. You'll play with layers, colour, marks and patterns, letting each feather develop its own personality rather than trying to make them all behave themselves.

And woven amongst them?

Your words.

You’ll be invited to choose words, phrases or little reminders that mean something to you. They might represent something you want more of, something you’ve learned, something you're working towards, something you're ready to leave behind… or simply something that makes you smile.

There are no right words.

Just your words.

As always, I'll guide you through the process, but your artwork doesn't need to look like mine.

In fact, I promise it won't because this is about making something that is uniquely YOU.

No artistic experience needed and definitely no serious pants required.

By the end of the session you'll head home with:

• Your own completed A4 artwork, framed, and ready to hang.

• New skills to continue painting and creating long after the afternoon ends.

• And a feeling of "ahhhhh, that felt good!"

📍 Location: My home in Glen Eden

⏰ Duration: Approximately 4 hours however please be flexible on finishing time as the feathers will ultimately decide and I don't want to rush you

👥 Limited to just 7 Escapees to keep the experience supportive and personal.
