AFTER HOURS ART SESSIONS IS ESCAPING TO THE TABLELANDS to give you a space to create art that will remind you what it feels like to choose YOU and to paint part of your story.

Sometimes the things we need most aren’t things at all.

A little courage.
A little peace.
Permission to let go.
A reminder to stay wild.
Or maybe just the words “you’ve got this” on a day when we're not entirely convinced we do.

Finding Feathers is about creating your own little collection of reminders.... the words, thoughts and tiny pieces of wisdom you carry with you.

Using watercolour and ink, we’ll create a collection of beautifully imperfect, colourful feathers across an A4 artwork. You'll play with layers, your choice of colours, marks and patterns, letting each feather develop its own personality rather than trying to make them all behave themselves.

And woven amongst them?

Your words.

You’ll be invited to choose words, phrases or little reminders that mean something to you. They might represent something you want more of, something you’ve learned, something you're working towards, something you're ready to leave behind… or simply something that makes you smile.

There are no right words.

Just your words.

As always, I'll guide you through the process, but your artwork doesn't need to look like mine.

In fact, I hope it doesn't.

Come make something that feels like YOU.

No artistic experience needed and definitely no serious pants required.

This isn't about creating the perfect painting.

It's about creating one that is yours.

By the end of the session you'll head home with:

• Your own completed A4 artwork framed in your choice of black, oak or white.

• A creative experience you'll remember long after the paint has dried.

• A unique artwork that you created by giving yourself permission to pause for an afternoon.

Set amongst twenty acres of majestic gums, birdlife, beautiful views and nature provides us with a spectacular background soundtrack while we settle in for a few hours of gentle tunes, great company and mindful painting.
