It can be hard to find health information that is safe and reliable online. There are many websites and posts claiming to share information that will help improve your health or even ‘cure’ serious health conditions. It’s important to know how to spot a what might be misleading you and how to double check health claims online.

We'll also be joined by a guest speaker, Dr Brooke Nickel from the University of Sydney! Brooke is a Research Fellow in The University of Sydney School of Public Health and part of the Sydney Health Literacy Lab. Her research focuses on evidence-based healthcare communication and decision making. She'll share insights from her research into misinformation on social media and tips to spot misleading posts.
