Cathy Freeman is an Australian sporting and cultural icon. Among her many accolades are having been a one-time Australian of the Year, lighting the Olympic flame at the 2000 Olympic Games, and winning world titles and an Olympic gold medal. Her stellar sports career and life since have run in tandem with a life-long search for meaning. In this search many threads have been woven together including the pursuit of excellence, mind-training, meditation, and connecting with her indigenous cultural roots. In this seminar we will hear Cathy's own perspective and some of the insights that she has gleaned spanning from her life lived in the public spotlight to her inner search for self-discovery.
