Stories & Reflections from "Grist for the Mill: From Saigon to Silence"

"The longest journey we ever make is not across the world, but towards the truth of our own lives."

Over four peaceful days at the Benedictine Monastery Guest House, New Norcia we shall explore four simple questions: coming to stillness, learning how to see, coming home, how do I belonging. Featured stories will come from Meath Conlan's forthcoming memoir. They include: 'The simplicity & Wisdom of Iset Khan,' 'The Foreman who saw gold,' 'Learning to See with Bede Griffiths,' 'Learning Simplicity with Zen Master Ama Samy,' 'My Religion is Kindness with the Dalai Lama,' and 'The Evening Light.'

Description

There will also be opportunities for silence, rest, quiet walks, personal reflection, the Benedictine liturgy, private interviews with Dr Meath Conlan, and evening film presentations - 'A Human Search" (Bede Griffiths) and 'The Interior Voyage' (Swami Abhishiktananda).
