Fingal Bushcare — Tomaree Coastal Walk
Event description
You're invited to join us for
Fingal Bushcare — Tomaree Coastal Walk
Saturday am 15 March and / or Friday am 28 March
The Friends of Tomaree National Park are turning their sights to regenerate bush around Fingal Bay. We are inviting you to a terrific morning (8am to 10am) giving a helping hand to contain invasive weeds and protect native bush along the Tomaree Coastal Walk near Fingal's southern section.
Through the morning we will learn about native vegetation, and find out how to deal with invasive weeds such as bitou bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifera), lantana and asparagus fern (Asparagus aethiopicus). We’ll be removing weeds that are starting to overtake native bush.
We will send you more information about the day, where to meet, what to bring and more. A simple morning tea will be supplied.
Come for one or both mornings!
See how you like it and you may wish to join us regularly or casually ongoing, on the third Saturday and/or the fourth Friday of each month. No obligation, if you cannot make it some days that is perfectly fine.
We look forward to meeting with you.
Please register each participant separately.
We will ask you to provide your contact details and those of an emergency contact (first name only and mobile) who is not at this activity. Should you have any queries, please email David at tomaree-np-friends-north@npansw.org.au
