Description

Writing a book is hard. And it's a lot harder when you have ADHD - which is why we're bringing together four incredible ADHD authors to share their strategies for finishing books in Staying Power: Finishing Books With ADHD.

Happening on September 26th as our official First Draft Fall pre-launch event, this two hour deep-dive panel will bring together Premee Mohamed, E.A. Noble, E.M. Anderson, and Savannah Stephens to explore:

  • Why overly detailed outlines can make your ADHD balk at the drafting proces—and how to balance knowing what comes next with giving your brain the novelty it needs

  • Why trying to write every day may be sabotaging your forward momentum—and what to do instead

  • What do do when you get a Shiny New Idea but you're only 10,000 words into your current novel

  • How to motivate your brain to push through the muddy middle—and the infamous 80% ADHD slump

Want to attend this panel? Buy your ticket for $29 OR join the Weeknight Writers community to gain access to this event plus year-round writing support for just $21 per month!

How the panel will work

Staying Power: Finishing Books With ADHD will be a Q&A style panel hosted online through StreamYard. Questions from Weeknight Writers members will be prioritized, so if you've got a burning question for our panelists, make sure you join our community before September 18th to guarantee your question will be answered! Members also get automatic entry to this and all other Weeknight Writers events.
