Before You Book

Please review the following important information before securing your spot on this expedition:

Travel & Insurance

• International flights to Moorea/Tahiti are not included.

• Travel insurance is highly recommended. (proof required before departure).*

Payment & Refunds

• A non-refundable deposit of $500 USD is required to secure your place.

• Remaining balance must be paid by June 12, 2026.

• Refunds of the balance are available until August 12, 2026 (deposit not refundable).

• If payment is not received by the deadline, your spot may be forfeited.

• Bank/transfer fees are not covered by The FINstitute.

Liability & Safety

• All participants will sign waivers covering dive activities, shark research, and travel risks.

• The FINstitute is not liable for accidents, injuries, or personal property loss.

• Local safety briefings and dive orientations will be conducted before entering the water.

Community & Expectations

• This program is a science focused expedition – expect daily workshops, data collection, and group debriefs.

• Respect for Polynesian culture and collaboration with local scientists is central to our mission.
