FinTech: Tax Administration in a Digital World; A Roundtable with IR
Event description
Inland Revenue has been looking at how the growth in digital systems and digital channels could impact on tax administration. It has identified a set of trends and shifts that are playing out and made assessments about what these could mean for the tax system and how taxpayers interact with it. It has published an Issues Paper (see here) on which it invites feedback. IR would welcome the opportunity to test its thinking with you.
Join an interactive session where issues relevant to the business sector will be discussed. Particular topics include: how the growth in digital services could reduce the burden of tax compliance, what might more automation mean for tax, what the future holds for tax data, and what’s needed to maintain trust in the tax system.
