Event description
Fire Island Artist Residency celebrates its 15th Anniversary season in Cherry Grove with The Bohemian Ball! A tea dance and pool party fundraiser hosted at the private home of FIAR founders Chris Bogia and Rod Sayegh with cocktails and delicious summer spreads by chef Noelle Grant of Sand Castle on the Ocean.
DJ BLKshine spinning disco and house, swimming, cocktails and food, raffle of fabulous door prizes and art.
With special guests Miss Cherry's All Star and Miss Hell's Kitchen Sabel Scities and FIAR’15 artist Leilah Babirye among others.
Categories for the ball might include: Boho Chic, Caftans, Crochet/Macramé, Flower Power, Hats & Turbans, Tom Bianchi's 70s polaroid boys, Glitter the house down, Barely There and more.
All proceeds directly benefit the Fire Island Artist Residency, "The First LGBTQ Artist Residency in the World" founded in 2011 in Cherry Grove, Fire Island.
TICKETS: $65
VIP TICKETS: $100 (include private cocktail hour at 3:00pm, meet & greet with FIAR'15 artist Leilah Babirye, and 2 raffle tickets)
RAFFLE TICKETS: $10 (available at the event with cash or Venmo)
