Fire Wise Management of a Lifestyle Property - Walk & TalkÂ

Location: Wattle Flat, Yankalilla (address to be provided to participants after booking).
Join us for a walk & talk around a lifestyle property to look at the pros & cons of garden design elements, plant selection and farm system layout including its pastures & their grazing when considering fire management strategies.
The Presenters for this session will include property owner, Lisa Blake to discuss the strategies and design elements of the property that help or hinder its resiliency to bushfire and botanical expert Paul Green to discuss how species selection and plants including native grass pastures can play an important role in both improving biodiversity and providing protection to homes and farm infrastructure.
This event is aimed at Landholders, new property owners and local Landcare groups. Spots are limited please book asap to ensure you get a spot.
