Fire with Educated by Nature
Event description
We are excited to provide an incursion opportunity for home-school families. This unique event is tailored to provide an enriching nature-based experience for primary-aged students. The program is designed to complement a home school curriculum.
It is important to learn about the importance and danger of fire in Australia as well as practice using fire safely and confidently. At this incursion children explore the fascination of fire in a supported environment. Students set up space for fire, select materials to build small fires in trays, practice a variety of fire lighting techniques and safely manage and use fire as a whole group.
This is NOT a drop-and-leave session. A parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the program.
