    Event description

An evening of new music with Lakeshore Rush. Join us for our annual fundraising event Saturday, October 19 at 7:00pm. This cozy evening will take place at Lakeshore Rush’s Headquarters, a historic in Rogers Park with the stage set next to the fireplace. There will be food, drink, silent auction, and a concert. Musical selections will draw on the ensemble's 10th Anniversary Season program theme, "One Small World" which is both a nod to the Disneyland attraction and a unifying message of peace. The home has been owned by musicians for generations, many concerts have taken place in this special space in Chicago, and Lakeshore Rush is thrilled to continue to bring together members of the community through the special connection of the arts!

The ensemble is named after a previously endangered grass that has recently revitalized the shores of Lake Michigan, and commits itself to environmental stewardship in its programming. Lakeshore Rush's mission: to present music by living composers and forgotten chamber music masterpieces.
