    Event description

    A panel of indigenous game developers come together to share their experiences and discuss indigeneity in games. They'll be sharing their experiences, discussing indigeneity in games and covering topics such as indigenous stereotypes, inclusive work environment, and hopes for the future.

    This panel will be hosted by Miranda Due with speakers Sydnee McLeod, Shandiin Woodward and Alexis Gros-Louis Houle. 

    Join us and ask your questions live or through our registration form.  This online event is open to everyone, worldwide, and is covered by the Pixelles safer space policy.

    Panelists

    • Miranda Due
      Miranda (Pawnee/Cherokee) is an interactive storyteller and game producer with a vast experience working in the game industry. Miranda is currently a Story Producer and the Artist and Influencer Relations Manager at Illuminative, where she is focused on elevating indigenous stories and creators.
    • Sydnee McLeod
      Sydnee (Ojibwe) is a Senior Community Manager at Norsfell.
    • Shandiin Woodward
      Shandiin (Navajo Nation) is the Co-Founder and Art Director at Subliminal.
    • Alexis Gros-Louis Houle
      Alexis (Huron-Wendat) is a 3D artist who works in games, and the co-founder of Awastoki. 
    • Ashley Reeves
      Ashley (Mandan, Hidatsa, Arikara) is a game tester II at Epic Games Inc., and a 3D Character Artist.
