Hiring & Managing High-Performing Teams to Facilitate Growth; A Fireside Chat with Glenn Butcher
Event description
With past experience from global brands Amazon, Atlassian and Prospa, Glenn Butcher is bringing his knowledge to our next Boosted Series.Â
Join us for this Fireside Chat as Plus Eight Head of Programs Isabelle Goldfarb interviews Glenn Butcher, technology company builder and venture partner.
This intimate discussion will see Glenn share his journey and experience of working at global brands and diverse technology startups, as well as offer the audience an insight into people leadership, scaling and strategy.
During his time at Atlassian, Glenn led, managed and designed much of the platform and operations technology behind a major shift in company strategy to Software as a Service (SaaS). Eight months after launch, the product was 10% of company revenue, with the platform operating 15,000 virtual machines on 40 TB of ram, at only 10% of the cost of the previous platform.
While at Amazon, he built software to operate, deploy, and model the world-wide
Amazon network at massive scale, founding Amazon's software engineering
capability in Sydney.
