Friday 31st January at 10-12 at Willunga Environment Centre
Join Andrew Fairney from Seeding Natives for a FREE and informative workshop on the importance of native grasses, how certain species respond to fire and contribute to improving the resilience of landscapes to fire. Learn how to identify different native grasses species and the role they play to support our local wildlife and biodiversity in the ecosystems.
Andrew is the CEO and founder of Seeding Natives Inc, a non for profit organisation that is innovating ecological restoration from the ground up and specialises in native grasslands, with the primary objective of saving threatened species and ecosystems.
This event is being run by the Fleurieu Environment Centre as part of the education aspect of the Firewise Project. The project is supported by the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife and has received grant funding from the Australian Government through the Preparing Australian Communities local stream.Â
