About the course:
Delivered by APEX Learning and Development (RTO 46324), this nationally recognised training equips participants with the skills and confidence to respond to a range of emergencies.
Course Options:
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (includes HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR Update)
You will learn:
How to respond in an emergency using the DRSABCD Action Plan
Adult and child CPR using manikins
Managing bleeding, burns, fractures, medical emergencies, and more
Real-world, hands-on scenarios to build confidence and competence
Blended Delivery:
Pre-Course Online Learning – Approximately 2–5 hours of self-paced eLearning to be completed before the face-to-face session.
Facilitated Session – In-person workshop covering practical skills and assessment.
First Aid + CPR (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009): 5 hours (10:00AM–3:00PM)
CPR Update (HLTAID009 only): 2 hours (10:00AM–12:00PM)
Course Fees:
$150 – Dual Qualification (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid + HLTAID009 CPR)
$99 – CPR Update (HLTAID009 only)
IMPORTANT (please read before booking):
Completion of online learning is mandatory before attending the in-person session.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your session. Late arrivals may be unable to participate and will need to rebook.
Numbers are strictly limited. If you miss your booking, a re-sitting fee will apply.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion and are valid for 3 years (CPR component recommended to update annually).
Tickets are non-refundable and transferable to another course date.
The organiser may postpone the course if minimum participant numbers are not met.
