Wednesday 5 August - Ravensthorpe Community Centre
Learn how to recognise the signs of mental health issues – in others and yourself – with the accredited St John First Aid for Mental Health training.
Practice reaching out to colleagues, friends and family, and learn how to provide support for them or yourself in a mental health crisis. You’ll build knowledge and understanding about stress, depression, anxiety and suicide, and learn the importance of the crucial first steps in helping someone to seek professional ongoing care.
Morning afternoon tea and lunch will be provided.
Course costs have been heavily subsidised thanks to support from Shire of Ravensthorpe, Ravensthorpe Regional Arts Council and Ravensthorpe CRC. If the cost of the ticket is still out of reach, please contact Ravensthorpe CRC as further discounting is available.
