FIRST AID SKILLS COURSE

Provide basic emergency life support (HLTAID010) sessions, FREE to interested community members. 

This nationally accredited course is targeted at individuals who do not require the First Aid Certificate but do require first aid skills. The course consists of 1 hour of pre-course work plus 3 hours face-to-face training.

This course includes a theoretical and a practical assessment component.

· Theory includes a multiple-choice paper.

· Practical assessment includes being able to perform two minutes of uninterrupted CPR on both an infant resuscitation manikin and an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor, to be marked as competent.
