Face-to-face training, with prior online component
Youth 14-24 year old

REQUIREMENTS

Prior to attending the practical session, students will be provided with access, via email, to the Riverina Community Colleges online system to complete the theory assessment, the email will be sent to the email address provided when securing this ticket, so please ensure it is correct and you have the required access. This involves 112 multiple choice questions. Students MUST receive a satisfactory outcome prior to scheduled practical session. 3 attempts for the theory assessment will be given to all students. Students will be required to demonstrate your knowledge during the practical assessment.

To successfully complete the practical assessment, you must be capable of demonstrating your first aid skills in several scenarios including performing at least 2 minutes (5 cycles) of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an adult resuscitation mannequin placed on the floor.

TRAINING OUTLINE

In this training, you will learn the skills and knowledge to provide a first aid response in a range of situations. This qualification is valid for three years. The training consists of an online theory assessment and a one-day face to face practical assessment.
