"First Draft" - ASPIRE Young Scriptwriters - Performance Evening UPPER HUNTER REGION

Welcome to First Draft, which features scripts from our Young Scriptwriters Participants for 2025. This year, we invited schools to nominate students in stage 3 who they felt would benefit from the program, and the students have not disappointed.

Following the workshops conducted throughout the year, our scriptwriters were tasked with writing a 3-minute script that could be from any genre and around any theme.

The only requirement was that it be G-rated, and no more than 6 characters could be used. It’s really exciting to be able to present their work as a staged reading event today with the assistance of some local actors from our secondary schools.
