Join us for the celebration event of First Impressions, an exhibition showcasing the work of artist, Felix Borsari (1945 – 2000).
Swiss born, Borsari migrated to Australia in 1967 and moved to Nillumbik in 1975. His artistic impressions of a treasure trove of wildflowers near Panton Hill inspired Nillumbik Shire Council’s Felix Borsari Wildflower Walk reserve.
Marking 25 years since his passing, this exhibition reveals Borsari responding to his surroundings with characteristic visual acuity, stark economy of line and a sense of emotion and authenticity.
Held in conjunction with the exhibition 'First Impressions' at the Eltham Library Community Gallery from Saturday 27 September to Sunday 2 November.
