    Event description

Wyndham City’s inaugural ‘First Nations Art Tour’ begins an ongoing showcase of artworks by First Nations people throughout Wyndham.

Art Tour participants will travel to select artworks and activations, learning about the artworks, their stories and in some cases, hearing from the artists themselves. Join us for a tour traversing sites across Bunurong and Waddawurrung lands and enjoy a free lunch at Wunggurrwil Dhurrung before finishing at one of Wyndham’s largest public art commissions in the Werribee City Centre.

This tour will begin and end in Werribee City Centre, with exact details released closer to the day.

Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
