    Event description

Hey you Mob, come along on this Mob-only tour of selected artworks and sites around Wyndham, moving across Bunurong and Waddawurrung lands. Participants will visit and learn about artworks and their stories and, in some cases, hear from the artists themselves. This tour includes a free lunch/feed at Wunggurrwil Dhurrung before finishing at one of Wyndham’s largest public art commissions in the Werribee City Centre.

    Mob-only tour information:

    • This Mob-only tour will start at 09:30 am, Friday May 31st, at Peter Waple-Crowes' AFFIRM, which sits on the eastern (Station Place side) of Werribee Station.
    • Our buses will then take participants to see a recent Community Centre artwork commission before visiting Wunggurrwil Dhurrung for further artwork yarns and a free feed.
    • The tour will then visit Mooroop Yarkeen before finishing at the starting point / Werribee station.

Wyndham City Council recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. We acknowledge the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. We pay respect to their Ancestors and Elders who always have, and always will, care for Country and community today and for future generations.
