About the Workshop

This interactive workshop is designed to deepen understanding of the historical and ongoing challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Participants will gain insights into past policies and practices and their enduring impacts on Indigenous cultures, communities, and traditions. The session will also address and dispel common myths about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, fostering a more informed, respectful, and culturally sensitive approach to communication and interaction.
