First Nations First Workshop

The First Nations First Workshop is a practical and reflective learning space designed to strengthen culturally informed practice across sectors.

Grounded in a culturally informed approach, this workshop supports participants to move beyond awareness and into meaningful application through the use of the DEADLY Lens Tool.

Participants will be guided to reflect on their current practice, explore how culture influences engagement and decision-making, and develop practical ways to apply a cultural lens within their roles and organisations.

This workshop is suited to professionals working across health, community services, child protection, education, early years, and related sectors who are seeking to build confidence and capability in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Through a relational and facilitated approach, this session creates space for honest conversations, shared learning, and strengthened understanding.
