Description

Join us on Wurundjeri Country for a Welcome to Country and to hear the soul-stirring songs of First Nations songstress LEO (Leonie Whyman!). A multi-disciplinary artist, Whyman currently features on ABC TV’s Deadloch Series and its soundtrack.

LEO is a proud Makwarra-Barkindji and Wiradjuri songstress. Inspired by her own spiritual journey and drawing on her experiences as a First Nations woman in this day and age, her lyricism will take you on a journey of healing and empowerment. She strives to make music to heal hurting hearts, make the audience think and feel deeply and use her voice as a platform to shed light on hard topics. She’s performed at The Gathering: WINTERFEAST (TAS) ‘24 & ‘25, Brunswick Music Festival ‘25, Share The Spirit at Sidney Myer Music Bowl ‘24, YIRRAMBOI ‘23.

2:30pm doors open for a 3pm event start.
