This year all Australians enrolled to vote will have the opportunity to use their democratic right at a referendum to give First Nations people a formalised and ongoing Voice to Parliament (the Voice) on the matters that impact their lives. Hear from Cath Brokenborough, Wiradjuri woman and Lendlease Executive Lead First Nations Engagement, about why and how Lendlease is supporting its employees to make an informed vote.
Cath Brokenborough is a proud Wiradjuri woman and Executive Lead, Indigenous Engagement and Reconciliation at Lendlease, where she provides strategic advice and leadership in the development and implementation of the company’s Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan. Cath is committed to ensuring that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities’ cultural heritage and traditional custodianship of the land and sea is recognized and employment, procurement and leadership opportunities and other initiatives are developed in consultation with Indigenous people and implemented by Corporate Australia and various levels of Government.
