Create Your Own Daydream Workshop with Sarah Morrah

Come and create your own daydream on paper with Sarah Morrah.
Participants will be guided through Sarah’s process and inspiration for her current collection while learning about contemporary collage. Sarah’s 'thoughts on paper' are colourful interpretations of the way our mind wanders.
You will be given your own A3 image to collage and paint your own daydream onto. There will be light refreshments provided as you collage in DEPOT's gorgeous light-filled gallery space, surrounded by Sarah’s current exhibition Neural Bloom.
Tickets are $35 with light refreshments provided.
Suitable for Age 12+ | Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Koha will be accepted upon entry.
About Sarah Morrah
Sarah Morrah is an emerging visual artist working in painting and sculpture and based in Auckland. She predominantly makes works with contemporary watercolour techniques, photography and collage. Her art is often floral, sometimes surreal and sits somewhere between figurative and abstract.
Morrah is largely self-taught in painting and ceramics. She has always been creative, originally having an interest in contemporary jewellery making. She obtained a diploma in Jewellery Manufacturing and Design from MIT in 2012 while working as a GP. Sarah has always had a strong art practice alongside her career as a Doctor. Using her first paycheque as a junior Dr. in Wellington to pay for night classes in jewellery making. She has since exhibited in contemporary jewellery and sold under her own brand. Over the last several years Morrah has been concentrating her practice in painting with collage and ceramics.
