First Thursdays: Travel Sketching with Tony McNeight

Join us for First Thursdays in Devonport - Te Hau Kapua

Join Tony McNeight for a fun and relaxed 2 hour workshop that will take you through the basics of using pen and aquarell coloured pencils. You will learn the freedom of sketching in your sketchbook and enhancing your sketch by building with colour. You will be able to see how easy travel sketching can be and how your pen and sketchbook can take you from a café in Devonport to anywhere in the world. This method shows how easy it is to create surprising results.

Tickets are $60 and include a A5 portrait diary, a set of 12 Aquarell pencils and a Staedtler pen for each participant to keep. 

Refreshments will be provided by our hospitality partner Toi Toi Wines.
This workshop is suitable for adults. 
Koha will be accepted upon entry. 

About Tony McNeight

Tony is a dedicated artist and travel sketcher. He has been teaching beginners travel sketching in Devonport  and Takapuna for 10 years, having introduced the world of travel sketching to over 2000 people. Tony also takes workshops and travel sketch tours throughout New Zealand and overseas.
