Fishburners x Cure Cancer Games Night

Fishburners is hosting a very special gaming evening with Cure Cancer. Join us for a night of gameplay and discussion with experts from the Australian games industry.

When: Wednesday 18th of September 2024, 5.00pm-8.00pm

Where: Fishburners, 2/11 York Street Sydney NSW 2000

Funds raised on the night will go towards funding ground-breaking cancer research.

We will start the evening with a panel discussion from experts in the Australian games industry. Game On – A look behind the scenes of video game marketing, publishing and events in Australia aims to give attendees a crash course in what it takes to build, launch and showcase video games in the Australian market.

After the panel, it's time to press start with a whole host of gameplay opportunities, including:
- Retro Play: Jump on some of the classic titles from the early days of gaming with playable NES Classic, SNES Classic, PlayStation Classic, and RetroPie Arcade.
- Current Gen Consoles: Battle it out on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S consoles with some great multiplayer and co-op titles to play.
- Virtual Reality: Explore the new real with a virtual reality experience.
- Tabletop Experiences: New to tabletop gaming? We will have guided plays of Dungeons and Dragons, and Magic The Gathering to help get you started.

There will be challenges and prizes on the night as well for attendees, so grab a drink and join in on all of the fun from 5pm on September 18th.
