Fitzgerald Sunbeam_[draft play reading]
Event description
Join us for a play reading of the first completed draft of Esther Dougherty's new play, 'Fitzgerald Sunbeam'.
'Fitzgerald Sunbeam' is a new-age cult leader’s origin story, told to his congregation of soon-to-be members as a bizarre puppet show. Along with his helper, he chronicles his transformation from a sinner to an enlightened leader, who has emerged from the electric desert with wisdom, a good aura, and no trace of anything from the past in his psyche. When Fitzgerald's control over his own narrative starts to slip out of his grasp, what will he do? Let go and let god..., or hold on double tight? 'Fitzgerald Sunbeam' is a dreamy fantastical, bizarro but loving reflection on your beautiful soul. Download your spiritual upgrade v.1 with us now.
