Event description

Fitzy Futures is a unique event designed to meet our community at an inflection point. In the face of changes and challenges, we’re coming together to get creative about building a thriving future in the Fitz (aka, the Shire of Ravensthorpe).

Featuring:

  • Interactive, whole of community timeline activity
  • Caroline Robinson, Ravensthorpe Hopetoun Future Fund
  • Keith Bradby and Carol Pettersen, Genestreams Sculpture and Gondwana Link
  • Paul Bennett, Medallion Metals
  • Q&A panels with inspiring locals
  • Afternoon tea provided by MEEDAC
  • Also hear from: The Grief Centre WA, nbn co, Regional Tech Hub, Workforce Australia, Esperance CCI, SBDC Regional, Shire of Ravensthorpe, South Regional TAFE, Jobs & Skills Centre, MEEDAC, Ravensthorpe Agricultural Initiative, Fitzgerald Biosphere Community Collective

Following the event, we'll move to the Fitz Gallery for a sundowner sponsored by Medallion Metals.

This event will bring together local businesses and residents, mining workers facing an uncertain future, community representatives, and high school students—all exploring new possibilities in the Fitz region. We'll also have key State and Federal Government agencies as well as relevant NGOs.

Hopetoun bus service will be available, details TBC.
