Five day German Wheel Workshop and most of Level 2 Coaching Certificate

Ready to upgrade your existing German wheel and coaching skills with eight-time world champion, Wolfgang Bientzle?

The Coaching Level 2 course is open to German wheel athletes aged 16 and over, who:

• have completed the Level 1 Coaching Certificate and
• been coaching a minimum of one year and
• hold a valid Working with Children Check Number, available from your state government . 
  

This five day course will really progress your skills in more advanced straightline, spiral and vault. 

Learn, spot and practise:

• level A (easy) to D (fairly difficult) straightline moves including many more decentralised moves 
• level A (easy) to C (fairly difficult) spiralling
  
• level A (easy) to D (fairly difficult) vaulting (set the wheel rolling, run after it, ride over the top in all sorts of positions and dismount/flip to a crash mat on the other side).
  

This course covers all the practical and most of theory (65 of the 80 units) required for the full Certificate Level 2.

You can complete the remaining 15 units and assessments when Wolfgang visits in 2026, then obtain the Coach Level 2 Certificate accredited by USA Wheel Gymnastics for the cost of the 15 units plus $USD50 for the certification.  

This course has not been run in Australia since 2019 and is otherwise only available in English in the US, so please make the most of this rare opportunity to learn from the master.

We will have German wheels available for people 140-175 cm tall.  If you are taller or shorter than this, you can still participate but we might need to modify some skills.
