Sat, 12 Jul, 2pm - 2:45pm AEST

Event description

In this fun, hands-on drawing activity, children will reconstruct some of the most famous and terrifying prehistoric whales and sharks that ever lived in Victoria.

Utilising up-to-date scientific knowledge, participants will slowly flesh out prehistoric animals by adding muscles and skin to a 2-dimensional fossil skull provided to them on paper.

Palaeontologist Ben Francischelli will showcase the available evidence that has been collected across Victoria, and teach participants about Victoria’s ancient world of whales and sharks.
