Flexible and blended learning: Book launch

Price FREE Register

Event description

‘Blended learning’, ‘HyFlex learning’, ‘Hybrid learning’, and ‘Remote learning’ are just some of the terms that we’ve gotten intimately familiar with since 2020. It is not to say that these ways to learn did not exist before, but many educators and learners got to experience them first hand.

Katie Linder and Kevin Kelly have been breathing, teaching, learning, experimenting, and investigating these delivery methods for many years now and gathered their findings as well as much needed practical advice, templates, and activities in numerous publications. This webinar is an occasion to learn about and celebrate the two most recent works, Kevin’s solo book ‘Making College Courses Flexible’ and the second edition of ‘The Blended Course Design Workbook’, which Katie and Kevin edited.

In this webinar you will learn more about the motivations of Katie and Kevin to foster flexible learning scenarios and take away practical tips for your own teaching. We will also discuss how portfolio work can be integrated meaningfully into flexible and blended courses, and how they can add value for learners.

If that is not enough, we will raffle off two copies of each book during the session.
