Register now for one of our free information sessions with the NSW Department of Education program managers and discover everything you need to know about the Flexible Initiatives Trial (FIT):Β Β 

  • How could a FIT grant help you trial new ways to better cater for the needs of local families?Β Β 
  • Are you eligible to apply?Β Β 
  • What should you include in your application to give it the best chance of success?Β Β 

This will also be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.Β Β 

The Flexible Initiatives Trial provides grants for eligible providers to test and trial new or adapted operating models over 12 months. This could include:Β 

  • extending hours of operation beyond traditional working hoursΒ Β 
  • providing flexible pick-up and drop-off timesΒ Β 
  • giving families the ability to make irregular care arrangementsΒ Β 
  • establishing new family day care services in remote areasΒ Β 
  • partnering with different service types to provide extended or wrap around care arrangementsΒ 
  • and maybe more!Β 

Applications for this second round of funding will close on Tuesday 2 July 2024.Β  Β
