Flexible Initiatives Trial information session

Event description

Register now for one of our free information sessions with the NSW Department of Education program managers and discover everything you need to know about the Flexible Initiatives Trial (FIT):

  • How could a FIT grant help you trial new ways to better cater for the needs of local families?
  • Are you eligible to apply?
  • What should you include in your application to give it the best chance of success?

This will also be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

The Flexible Initiatives Trial provides grants for eligible providers to test and trial new or adapted operating models over 12 months. This could include:

  • extending hours of operation beyond traditional working hours
  • providing flexible pick-up and drop-off times
  • giving families the ability to make irregular care arrangements
  • establishing new family day care services in remote areas
  • partnering with different service types to provide extended or wrap around care arrangements
  • and maybe more!

Applications for this second round of funding will close on Tuesday 2 July 2024.

This is a competitive application process. Don’t miss this chance to learn more about the Flexible Initiatives Trial and understand how to apply.
