Flickerfest: Comedy Shorts in the Amphitheatre

FLICKERFEST is returning to Katherine to bring the best of comedy shorts to Godinymayin!

Join us in the amphitheatre for a night of laughs and cinema under the stars with handpicked comedy shorts from FLICKERFEST 2026.

Doors open at 6:30pm with the first film rolling at 7pm.

Licensed bar and snacks available.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrating its 35th year, Flickerfest, Australia’s only Oscar® and BAFTA qualifying short film festival, and the country’s largest Australian & International short film competition, screens the best of shorts from Australia and the world, selected from over 3,700 entries; ensuring the presentation of A-list short film programmes recognised amongst the best in the world. Flickerfest returns with this one-off chance for Katherine audiences to see the Short Laughs Comedy programme of award winners and festival favourites officially selected for the Flickerfest National Tour.
