Flight Instructor Workshop - Jandakot
Event description
CASA will be delivering a workshop aimed specifically at pilots who hold an instructor rating or those who are contemplating getting an instructor rating.
Flying Instructors play a critical role in flight safety both during the initial training of pilots and ongoing flight reviews.
The workshop will include lectures, case studies and discussion topics.
Some of the topics covered will include:
- Alerted see and avoid, an essential skill to develop in your student
- Maintaining situational awareness in the instructional environment
- Skills your student needs to succeed in the industry as a professional pilot
- Part 61 topics, such as instructor privileges, making licence entries and extended training privileges for grade 1 flying instructors
- CASA resources for instructors and students
Your Aviation Safety Advisors will be available after the event to address any questions that you may have.
