Flinders - Cairns Bay - 7KM'S
Event description
HIKE LEADER - Amanda
This hike offers breathtaking views across Bass Strait from the dramatic black basalt cliffs, which are impressively high!
Our plan is to visit Cairns Bay and then head to Flinders Blowhole and back. The track can be steep in places, so it requires good leg strength and the ability to handle a steep incline. Although the distance is shorter than usual, I guarantee you'll get a solid workout and absolutely love this hike! It will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
Important Note:
This hike includes a small water crossing (approx. 70cm wide) that requires confident balance and good leg strength to navigate safely. There’s minimal support to hold onto, and the area can be slippery.
For this reason, we recommend this hike only for those with strong lower body mobility. If you’re unsure, we suggest joining one of our relaxed walks instead.
This hike is rated moderate as there are some steep inclines and balance is required to navigate. A moderate level of fitness and stamina is required. We maintain a steady pace but do stop occasionally for photos and snacks.
