Float loading is one of the hardest things we can ask of our horse and is an area of training fuelled with fear, frustration, force and failure.

Because float loading is one of the most emotionally and mentally challenging tasks we will ask of our horse, it is essential that we understand how the horse perceives the float, the human, the communication we offer, the pressures, and the overall environment. Only when we understand something, can we apply the appropriate tools and develop the skills required for effective results.

This workshop is for anyone who would like to learn how to help their horse develop calmness, confidence, understanding, and acceptance with float loading.

The science behind the brain and behaviour.
How to help you and your horse be calm and confident with the float.
Communication systems that nurture and support calmness, confidence and emotional regulation.
How to use the float to strengthen your relationship, trust and connection with your horse.
How to develop acceptance and not tolerance with the float.

There will be 15 places available for the day.
This day is a demo day, where we will be demonstrating using different horses so all you will need to bring is your notepad, pens, questions and learning hat. So please leave your beloved equines at home and soak the day up without distraction.
