Floodgate Operators

Founded in 2018, the Floodgate Operators are a five-piece bluegrass band hailing from Crested Butte, Colorado. They combine fast, flat-picking traditionals with energetic, heartfelt originals to create a unique experience that is not to be missed. Their debut album, ‘Flood the World,’ features 10 original tracks that showcase their complex songwriting, tight harmonies, and barn-burning leads. The band comprises:

• Kevin Doherty – 12-String Guitar

• Scott Stewart – 6-String Guitar

• Ryan Maddux – Banjo

• Sebastian Akesson – Bass

• Zach Vaughter – Mandolin

Crested Butte Avalanche Center (CBAC)

The CBAC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the loss of life, limb, and property due to avalanches in the backcountry surrounding Crested Butte. They provide daily avalanche advisories, including mountain weather forecasts, avalanche danger ratings, and travel advice, to residents and visitors of the Gunnison Valley.
