Flora Photography Workshop 8th September 2024 (Australian Botanic Gardens, Mount Annan)

Join us for an immersive photography workshop at the picturesque Australian Botanic Gardens, led by the seasoned photographer Glenn Smith of Glenn Smith Photography. Since 2016, Glenn has been specializing in flora, fauna, and fungi photography, offering workshops that accommodate photographers of all skill levels. This particular workshop focuses on Flora photography. 

This workshop is ideal for someone wanting to improve their flora photography, ideally, you will have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera for the workshop. 

The workshop begins in a classroom setting where Glenn covers the theoretical aspects of the morning’s session. Following this, participants will head into the gardens for several hours of on-site photography. During this time, Glenn will provide hands-on guidance, instructions, and advice. The workshop concludes with a wrap-up session back in the classroom.

Running from 8:15 AM to 1:00 PM, this workshop offers ample time to explore the gardens and capture stunning images. Glenn’s deep knowledge of the best locations and seasonal highlights ensures participants will have the opportunity to photograph a variety of captivating subjects.

Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced photographer, Glenn’s approachable teaching style will help you enhance your skills and deepen your enjoyment of photography. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a professional and discover the natural beauty of the Australian Botanic Gardens.

Each participant will receive a set of written notes to take home. The workshop is limited to a maximum of 12 students to ensure personalized attention during the garden walk. A minimum of 4 participants is required to cover the costs of room hire, notes, and morning tea.
