There will be a bar running on the night of the event. Please bring cash for the bar.

About The Event:

Layers Exhibition is an exploration of curatorial creativity and practice. Not only will the pieces included in this exhibition be inspired by the theme of layers but the curation will also expand to encompass ideas of layering in display and exhibition.

The opening event will include performances that have taken inspiration from the theme Layers.

About us:

Paper&Clay are an interdisciplinary duo making collaborative work and curating events that highlight and promote inter-inspiration and radical acts of community between London and Glasgow.

flos collective are a Glasgow-based producing house and collective of art makers connecting women and non-binary people in the arts. They facilitate environments where collaborators can grow and learn from one another, offering opportunities for artists to present their practice in a curatorial environment. They work to host financially accessible events that promote collaboration, growth, and visibility, nurturing a vibrant and inclusive artistic community.

This will be the second collaborative exhibition put on by Paper&Cay and flos collective.

The Steam Ship is an artist-run project space in East London. Host to exhibitions, performance, live music and more.

Previously squatted and now leased, the Steam Ship is a creative events space, shared artists studios and a home.
